La Margarita

Very nice place. Friendly staff and great food

La Margarita has been our family's favorite Mexican restaurant in DFW for years. Their food and frozen house margaritas are both fantastic. You can't go wrong with any of their steak dishes (or frankly anything on the menu).

Tried the Ox eyes enchiladas and was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Also tried a cup of their Tortilla Soup and was impressed by its flavor. The ranchero beans were ok at best as was the Spanish rice. I think I will try this place again soon. My waiter was a little awkward but friendly enough.

Order the cheese enchiladas and the ox-eyes enchilada’s. I think the food was just okay at best. Fast service and great vibes. Also, our mango drink was bitter.

Horrible. Been there twice. First time got the chimichanga. It was completely awful. Wasn't crispy at all tasted microwaved. Went back to see if it was just a bad day the first time. Nope. Got a chicken dish with rice and beans. Flavorless frozen chicken breast. It was chewy and clearly the cheapest piece of chicken they can buy. Like everything else there.

Very good food at a reasonable price.

WOW! I have lived in Irving for over 10 years and I drove past La Margarita's many times. A friend mentioned to me that I should check it out. I'm glad I did! By far the nicest Mexican restaurant I have ever entered. The owner has gone above and beyond my expectations with amazing food. I ordered Carne Asda and my friend ordered the Salad Bowl. Both were exceptional! I will be visiting here more often in the future!
