this place is a hidden gem of Hispanic food. Their service was exceptional and fast. My partner and I tried the sancocho, mofongo, and a pork lunch and these were delicious.
Tres leche was crumbly and dry you can tell its old the carne fritas had no flavor at all and couldve fried more as well as pork chops never again the mayo ketchup was thick and hard and dark like its been sitting all day
Food was authentic and fresh. Rellleno de papa are the best! If you stop at this mom and pop shop you will not be disappointed .
The food was bland and when I ordered a pizza pastelillo, it was half empty with a little sauce at the bottom. I didn’t even see any cheese. I had the mofongo as well which was dry. Also, the customer service was lackluster.
I haven’t had la kueva for an extended period of time, which now I regret because everything I had tonight was great. The roast pork and yellow rice, chicken and cheese empanadas and the sweet plantains were all perfect. Tysm. Will be ordering again soon.
Very friendly, food cooked to order, nothing reheated, best pork chops in town
The quality of food is amazing, everything is made fresh and is full of flavor! It is a little plain decor wise but still a very friendly atmosphere! Parking: Sometimes there are spots on the main street, easier to park on the side street Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps so is wheelchair accessible
Best Cuban I’ve ever had Update: Walked in at lunch time and ordered a Cuban. Was told “no, not right now”
