Fajitas and frozen margs...it was perfect! Ask for the homemade corn tortillas, they were a game-changer. Margs were exceptional; we sampled several different versions. Already looking forward to our next visit!
The service was fine and we were sat quick on a saturday night which was nice but everyone at the table had something to say about their meal and we all had something different. It was extremely bland. I've been here many times and this was the worst experience I have had.
Pricey for what we got. Don't do a margarita on the rocks it was 90% ice and not a good deal. Tiny little basket of chips, and never refilled them. I looked at how big the place was and just expected more.
Gave this place a try for the first time tonight. Was a busy Friday night and after patiently waiting 45 mins for a table, we ordered drinks and an empanada with chips and salsa as an appetizer knowing the entrees would be a while. After getting drinks, we had to ask the waiter about the chips as we were getting pretty hungry at this point. He apologized and brought some and took our entree order. A while later, the empanada arrived. It was served frozen. Not just cold, but literally was a frozen solid brick of ground beef inside a slightly thawed dumpling. After alerting the waiter, he took it and sent the manager out about 10 mins later. The manager arrived empty handed and said he was sorry. He didn't offer to comp our drinks or come to our table with a fresh, cooked empanada. Either of those would have prevented this review. We paid for our drinks and left. I may give them a second chance, but the old saying "you only get one chance to make a first impression" totally applies here. Sad. The place seems like it has potential and I can't even rate the food as I never was served any that wasn't frozen.
I went to this place twice in the past few months after not going for years. The food is OK, but it is usually someone else who suggests we go here and I go along since that's what they want. The chips and salsa are not free and are not really worth paying for. I ordered the Fajita Taco Plate lunch special. It was OK and the service was pretty good. I was with a group, so the waitress was kept very busy but she made it work. It was a nice atmosphere for the most part. I had a house margarita and it was not bad. I will still go here if someone else suggests it, but probably won't go any other way.
Great food, great service, Rellenos were excellent
If you had asked 2 yrs ago, La Hacienda was wonderful. Their food quality has greatly diminished since then. The fajita meat is chewy, dry and without flavor. You now have to pay for chips that are oily. Our plates came to the table at room temperature. Disappointing.
