Delicious carnitas plate, very nice staff

Excellent on all levels!

Out of towner here I got the carnitas platter and it was solid. The black beans were excellent as well. With tip, it was $115 for 4 people. Pretty pricey for a place that doesn't have waiters. It's pork, rice and beans. Not exactly expensive stuff, but the food was great for sure. I'm sure the lease for this location is a fortune, so that probably explains the price. It's the Bay Area. What do you expect? Generous portions too. Just enough to feel full without stuffing yourself. I would recommend and would definitely come back again when in Oakland. Beautiful downtown, BTW.

Natalia was super friendly, it is the first time I visit and won’t be the last. The atmosphere is happy, love the option of eating outdoor too.

Tacos were great. I especially liked the fish and carne asada. The chicken taco was excessively spicy for my European liking. The atmosphere was great and staff was very helpful. Kid-friendliness: The restaurant is located in the shopping center Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. No doors or other obstacles.

They are consistently friendly. Food comes out quickly. My issue is this-the food is always missing salt and there a lack of citrus/pickled element. It’s like the food is just not at its full potential. I’ve been here several times.

Very yummy fish tacos. Pork & pineapple tacos are a must try. Friendly staff and the to-go order came out swiftly, although it was a busy Friday at lunchtime. Check it out!
