My husband and I came for a New Year Eves party that advertized there would be a live jazz performance. We paid for the whole experience hoping we would have everything. However, when we got to the restaurant the server brought us upstairs which had no jazz music. When I asked the server he told me that it would be downstairs at 9:30pm and there were no available seats for us now. I was shocked because no one explained it, either in the invitation or when we got there. Finally they took us downstairs to have our dessert while we waited for an actual table, but then one of the servers brought us a check. I couldn't see but barely heard a jazz music, which was one of the reasons why we picked this restaurant for NYE celebration. I was so dissapointed. I wouldn't have minded if someone would have just told us that we can't get seats for the jazz music because it was packed for that day. Unfortunately food was just ok, nothing special and didn't surprised me at all. the bread was sooo hard to chew it, a butter had no flavor . and they didn't let us to see a drink menu and chared over 200 for three glass of wine.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this restaurant that compelled me to share my feedback. Last week, I called to make a dinner reservation and was assured by the person I spoke to that it was fine to show up at 6:30 PM, with the condition that we vacate our table by 8:00 PM due to a reservation at that time. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 6:30 PM, I encountered Mr. Philippe Masson, who informed me that my name was not on the reservation list. Despite providing him with the name of the person I spoke to when making the reservation, he insisted I wait at the bar. It was during this time that Mr. Masson began yelling at the gentleman who had taken my reservation. The close proximity of the bar and the front desk made the situation uncomfortable, as his loud and berating tone was clearly audible. My guest, who was equally disturbed by Mr. Masson's behavior, and I requested him to behave more professionally, emphasizing the unacceptability of such conduct. Unfortunately, our request fell on deaf ears, and Mr. Masson continued to make a scene. This incident led me to decide against remaining in the company or dining at a restaurant that condones such behavior. In all my years and numerous visits to New York City, I have never encountered such a discourteous individual. The lack of professionalism displayed by Mr. Masson significantly marred what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.

Locale particolare ed interessante, tipico stile francese. Per prenotare è necessario un deposito di 100 dollari a persona che dovrebbe poi essere scalato dal conto finale, “dovrebbe” perché in realtà faranno finta di non ricordarsene al momento del totale (ricordateglielo voi!). Siete obbligati a un menu fisso per 222 dollari a persona con un servizio alquanto assente per cifre da stellato. Assolutamente da evitare !
