Well the prices and the quality of the food did not match if the food was better tasting maybe it would have been okay plus the 11$ for parking is ridiculous. That was my first time and last time ever going
So, the $22 ceviche got me, my husband, my son & our two cousins ALL violently sick. How do I know it was that? Because the only one that isn't sick today is my youngest son who didn't eat the ceviche. The rest of us are running back and forth to the bathroom with severe stomach cramps & then some. The waiter wasn't very friendly either. Constantly looking elsewhere instead of giving us his attention. The atmosphere is pretty.....with the exception of the swarms of knats constantly around. All in all, wouldn't go back there.
DON’T EAT THE CEVICHE! I took my family there yesterday and now we are all deathly sick and we all had to call in to work today. The only person not sick didn’t eat the ceviche. The service was not good and took way too long and didn’t let us order when we were ready.
This place is not the same restaurant my husband and I first discovered 10+ years ago, a place that served good Mexican street food, like tlayudas and hamburguesas mexicanas. Now it's a glorified bar that serves a much smaller menu, none of the original food is on the menu, but still on the wall (so that's confusing). It seems to be focused on serving alcohol instead of food, as the alcohol menu is bigger than the actual food menu.
Fast service, food comes out quick, prices are great, food is always delicious! Parking: Parking is pricy, use the garage first 2 hours are free.
My friend and I sat there for 20mins and not a single soul addressed us, I don't wanna bring up anything about racism but it sure felt that way.
Okay food (overpriced) and bad drinks. The margaritas aren't what they used to be. It was like drinking a slushy with no alcohol. They're definitely just in it to make money now and it's really sad.
It happened to be a gorgeous sunny day when I ate at La Gloria’s for the first ( but definitely not last) time. The outside seating had fans blowing and eclectic statues, perfect photo ops. The service was fast and friendly. I have never had better salsa! It was fresh and smoky, almost like a guajillo or ancho chili base. The sopa de mole was incredible, as well as the quesadillas. This is authentic Mexican food! My only complaint is I got too full too fast off the aguas frescas and didnt save room for the extensive ceviche menu!
The bartender was pretty pitiful...
