This review is for the evans location. I'm leaving this here as well since I haven't gotten any response yet from this horrific experience... shows that the owner doesn't care either. I guess they condone this kind of aggressive behavior by their server. What a shame! Danny, the server, literally harrassed me and my fiance while trying to enjoy a date there but ended up leaving crying because of him. He seemed classist, fatphobic, discriminatory against asians or all of the above. Apparently, the owner is in Mexico, and he thinks it's okay to treat her restaurant like trash. He looked coked out. Or on some other kind of drug. Was aggressive and pushy. Touched my arm multiple times. He also thought it was appropriate to aggressively sit next to my fiance in the booth while we were explaining to the other server what was going on. Blamed me for the plastic in my food, and instead of apologizing, he said that if I wanted extra food, "he got me." It's really unfortunate that he has been a server there for 5 years. Maybe that's why he was so comfortable to speak so aggressively over the table to the point he was spitting saying to look him up on Yelp, basically threatening us to leave a review... clearly, he feels like he is untouchable. Maybe he was too busy flirting with the other table filled with ladies, and that's why he brought us ground beef tacos instead of chicken tacos that we ordered. The ground beef was NOT good. Taco Bell has better ground beef... my fajitas tasted okay. The rice and beans and salsa were good... I can't believe he literally said, "There wasn't any plastic in the food when I brought it out. It's not my fault i dont even make the food....." And now apparently, he's concerned that he looks bad because the kitchen is blaming him. Honestly, that's not my problem. I just wanted to get the food that I ordered. Pay for it and leave. Being from LA, I was really excited that the food was actually good. But Danny literally was so mean I left the place crying. A male coworker had to hold him back because he approached my fiance and left him with no personal space while another female buser that mostly spoke Spanish even agreed with me after the 5th time telling Danny not to speak to me or my fiance anymore, and to step away. He made me feel so uncomfortable and so unsafe that I've never had a server yell at me and blame me for whatever accident happened in the kitchen. I really do not understand how he has been there for 5 years. I know I'm not the only one who has felt that way due to his terrible service. And no, danny, the salsa wasn't hot for the 10th time that you asked. You should know asians can handle spicy food and not to call your customers poor. They should let the bus lady serve she speaks enough english and doesn't have smelly breath like danny did. He should stay freshened up if he wants to talk over the table and get so close to you. Also, no customers mean no job, danny boy. Also, the hostess deserves a raise. She was amazing.

This is our favorite Mexican food restaurant. Margaritas are good, too. It feels like they bring the food to you before you even sit down. Super friendly staff. Vegetarian green chile and you won't even miss the pork. My favorite order is a chile relleno, a guacamole tostada and the house marg with salt. It's fun to sit on the patio when it's warm out. Birthdays are awesome here because they not only sing, they bring you a plate piled with sopapillas! Vegetarian options: Green chili, relleno, huevos, margarita, tostadas, enchiladas.

Visiting from Texas. This is not good Mexican food. Chips were stale, salsa bland, enchiladas were okay, chili con queso was terrible and margaritas were full of sweet and sour. Not a good experience for $130 bucks

I used to love this restaurant . Last time I ate there it was spicier than normal. Today it was inedible and super expensive as the waitress charged ala carte prices instead of the combo price. I'm not going to post on yelp as I have too much reach there and I don't want to damage the business. I want to warn other customers that the food is incredibly hot now (even the guacamole was inedible). I just won't go back in the future.
