I ordered a large cake for my daughter's sweet sixteen. I wanted to make sure she got a smaller version for her to blow the candles and to make sure it had no nuts or fruits. When I went to pick up the cakes, they had not included the small one. What frustrated me the most was that the woman in charge tried to pin it on me, insisting it was not in the order. No integrity or sense of fairness. Customers don't write the order. Employees do. If she had not been on the phone, she would have paid attention and gotten the order right. They offered one of the small cakes already made. Again, I insisted that it could not have nuts or fruits. They reassured me it didn't have either. When my daughter started to eat it, she immediately had a rash and got swollen. The cake had pinapple and stawberries. She is very allergic to both. I'm considering getting an attorney and suing them.
"Destination food". Worth the trip here no matter where you're starting from. Service is outstanding and meticulous store front also speaks to the care taken in crafting their food. Sandwiches are served on a ciabatta bread that is crusty outside but perfectly chewy inside. Many options to choose from for both savory and sweet items. I could write a three page review on the delicious layers of just the Paradiso alone but the best advice is just go try something and you won't be disappointed.
Pastry selection is amazing. Reasonably priced
Great selection of pastries and cakes and all are delicious. This place is amazing. They also serve breakfast and lunch and it looked delicious too but I did not get a chance to try their food.
I've been going to La Fiorentina Pastry shop for 15 years now. It's a staple of the Italian section of the south end of Springfield. They have the BEST desserts and cakes in Western Mass. I would highly recommend their cannoli cakes if you are looking to branch off from basic chocolate, vanilla, and marble cakes. Great service and great food!
