The food is absolutely incredible and authentically French. Best French bakery in Denver. Parking: Cam get very crowded on weekends Wheelchair accessibility: Flat, easy access but narrow front door
Great experience from the staff and kitchen - need to rummage through the rest of the menu when I get a chance!
Once a great bakery for grab and go breads and pastries, now an overpriced restaurant with sub-par greasy and overpriced food. We visited the new location after going to the old one for years. The chocolate croissant French toast that was $10 is now $16.50. The portions are tiny, the sandwiches are $15 for basic entrees with no side included. They were completely out of three items I tried to order. Their hashbrowns seem to have been marinated in grease for days before being compacted together and browned. It was inedible and we told both our server and the gentleman who cleared the plates. No acknowledgment that we couldn't eat the food as prepared, no offer for a replacement item and no offer for a discount even though they could see it was not eaten. Their prices are outrageous for the portions and the lack of quality. We ordered two coffee's that took 10 minutes to be brewed and an iced tea that took 5 minutes to be brewed. We ordered two Cranberry mimosas and the server apologized for no juice in them and brought over a few ounces of Cranberry juice to add. There are at least 10 near by, upscale, places for bakery, breads, brunch, homemade entrees in this price range that are worth your time and money. La Fillette is not a competitive option with their lack of execution.
This has been one of my favorites for a long time, but now that they have brunch I am in absolute heaven! I had the Benny and holy smokes was it good, but the thing I always go back for is the almond croissant, can't get enough!
Edited: unfortunately the quality is not consistent and the prices have gone up quite a bit. Oh well… ———- I’m French and bias… But here is my take: Best chocolate croissant in town. The rest is excellent as well. But I come here for the chocolate croissant. They are just as good as my home country. In a way it is a problem—- for my waist line…
The food is amazing. I got the eggs Benedict with ham instead of duck. My husband got the build your own breakfast sandwich which came with this amazing tomato/bacon jam. I got a chocolate eclair to go and that was quite delicious too. Highly recommend.
The most delicious breakfast in town. Truly inspired craftsmanship.
