La Dolce Vita’s Summer Patio

Lovely dinner, delicious food, and plenty of selection with excellent service.

If you're looking for the perfect restaurant, look no further. My Italian partner and I went here for Valentine's Day. I am diagnosed Celiac, so finding a good gluten-free meal is SO difficult. The food wasn't just excellent "for gluten-free" it was some of the best pasta I have ever had, and I only cut out Gluten recently. My partner ordered off the regular menu and shared gluten-free apps with me, and was equally as happy. Since my diagnosis, this was the first time I felt truly comfortable eating at a restaurant. The staff was so friendly, with the Chef coming out to check on couples to see how everything was. He even took the time to explain the Celiac protocols and history of the restaurant. The server was attentive, helpful, and despite how busy it was, food was brought out quickly and was stellar. I can't recommend La Dolce Vita enough and will be making this a regular spot for dinner. Thank you to Chef Nealio and his whole team for making my Valentine's Day special.

This restaurant made my birthday very special. I had buddies visit from out of town and they all commented on how amazing this place is. We got there at 5:30pm and started off with some red wine and had a variety of appetizers, all of them incredible, but a special shout-out to the bruschetta and the calamari! Most of us got the chicken parm, and although it’s a simple dish, it was amazing all around. Good sauce, good pasta, and the chicken was amazing too. Chef came out to see how we enjoyed the food and then he sang me a happy birthday along with a crème brûlée! Just one massive shoutout to the staff, who put up with us for like five hours of eating and enjoying our wine. They were all incredible and absolutely lovely all around. I could not have chosen a better place to celebrate a milestone birthday!

It was a mixed bag. The apps (calamari and stuffed mushrooms) were great. Drinks were great. Mains (cannelloni, chicken parm) were not great. Really overcooked (chicken was hard and dry). The garlic bread without cheese was dry and had no flavour. The $4 bread basket didn’t come with oil or butter The sage gnocchi was the biggest hit, but did not come in a GF option. We were excited to try as I am GF and run out of dining options often, but I’m not sure this was worth the hype.

All their pasta and other food I've tried I've loved. I got their pizza at the start of this month and almost cried. It's such good gluten free pizza. I've got my non-gluten free friends hooked on the food as well. I got the pizza again last night and I actually got a little anxious because it doesn't look like other gluten free pizza. I had to check my order again just so my brain would realize that it's just really good gluten free pizza, and I did in fact order right. This place is my favourite restaurant and I'm just so happy this place exists. Dietary restrictions: They have a whole separate kitchen for gluten free. It's just amazing.

Delicious food! The polenta bites are incredible! The pizza is really good too. The service and atmosphere is great! Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere in a small restaurant. The Chef makes it personal by walking to the table and ensuring all our culinary needs are met. The menu has alot of Gluten Free options which makes this restaurant stand out. Id recommend for groups of 2-4 people. And if your Celiac the black plates contain GF food. Enjoy!

I am unsure how this restaurant has a 4.5 star review. The garlic bread is just garlic toast, the bruschetta is garlic toast with tomatoes. It came out burnt. It took over an hour for appetizers and then our meals came out wrong. It took over 45 mins to get lemonade. The waitress came by twice and we were forced to tip 20%. The service was awful. They knew we were there for a birthday and for the amount we spent you would think they would give us a free dessert. NOPE! But the other table sure got A+ treatment, and guaranteed they spent less than us. My cousin got over charged. The music was way to loud, couldn't have dinner conversation, not sure what was with the tiktok playlist. Lets not forget how we were forced out of the restaurant. Overall if I could give a 0 star I would.
