Oh, please! I recently went to Taqueria La Cumbre, and let me tell you, it was a disaster! The food? Mediocre at best. I ordered the Taco Steak Salad, and honestly, it was nothing to write home about—just blah, nothing special or tasty enough to remember. But let's talk about the tragedy here—the horrendous customer service! The staff, especially the women at the counter, seemed like they couldn't care less about being there. No smiles, no warm welcomes, nothing! It made me feel completely ignored and unappreciated. And don't get me started on the cleanliness—sticky tables and a sloppy vibe all around. Nobody there cares about keeping the place nice and clean. And the food issues don't stop there. The burrito shell? Stale and tough. The steak? It was gray and lacked any flavor, and the prawns? Overcooked! They don't offer water or let you use the bathroom until after you order—now I see why! They have to trap you into buying their disappointing food. I tried to give other dishes a chance, like the carnitas and the carne asada. The carnitas were just okay, and the carne asada, while moist, was unbelievably bland. After all this, I'm giving Taqueria La Cumbre a big fat zero-star rating. The lack of decent service and the poor state of the place completely overshadowed any possible redeeming qualities of the food. I left feeling utterly let down. I hope the management listens and makes some profound changes. Until then, I'm telling everyone to stay away if you're looking for a tasty meal in a pleasant setting—because this place isn't it!
This restaurant is mean and stingy with the little salsa they give out. The don’t even fill them up all the way sometimes. If they want to charge more I don’t mind paying but they don’t even want to sell them to you. They expect you to eat a big burrito and chips with 2 tiny salsa containers the size of your thumb. Plus I’m buying chips already and they don’t want to give more salsa. That’s why my favorite spot is pancho villa. They are not stingy with the salsa and they give free chips.

I’ve been coming to the BEST BURRITO in the SF Bay Atea for over 20 years now. The BBQ Chicken Super Burritos are my all time favorite. The Duran Family is said to have invented the “Mission Style Burrito” at their San Francisco location and the tradition of fantastic food in more than ample portions carries on into the next century. If you aren’t in the mood for a huge burrito the tacos and plates are delicious too!
Always great food and friendly service
If you've ever been to Super Taqueria, you know their burritos are huge but these are bigger and they cost more
***DONT COME HERE***This is probably honestly one of the worst restaurants in the area. THE PORTION SIZE IS PATHETIC! This is claimed to be a super shrimp burrito. I don’t know if I left the United States for 20 years or what but a super burrito should be the size that is twice the size of your hand. It should be enough to fill you stuffed and then have leftover the next day. This place is so stingy with their portion and is not at all worth $14. Go down the road to LA CORNETA in Burlingame and you get a way better deal for your money. Will never return and recommend that you don’t support this place. Don’t support places that give small portions, the more you support the smaller portions over the years they will give.
