La Croquantine de matthieu

I stopped here on an afternoon while on an overnight stay at the Fairfield (1/30/24). I had a nice chat with the team member who explained the dessert display. After my purchase he says they have a 2 for 1 after 6:00 pm (It was about 5:45). I mentioned the oddity of this disclosure and he just shrugged it off. I mentioned I would return in a few days to take advantage of the 2 for 1. The desserts were amazing but not something I would regularly consume. Just stopped by a few hours ago asked about the 2 for 1 and was told no such policy exists! Wow, what the hell is going on there? As was mentioned earlier, not sure if the team is used to a diverse clientele. I guess I will visit the website to investigate....

Calling this the best french restaurant in miami would be misleading. It is not comparable to Miami’s french restaurants with lavish decorations and high prices. But of all the “french” restaurants in miami, this is the best. The service can be a bit slow but they are very sweet and kind.

They served me my quiche the way I like it. And it had a wonderful, almost cloud like texture. I'll start the diet tomorrow I suppose.......

This morning I had breakfast here w/a cousin and friend and it was absolutely delightful. The service was lovely, and the staff genuinely welcoming and friendly. We sat there conversing for quite some time after eating and never felt rushed to pay and free the table. The croissant breakfast I had was fresh, delicious (and reasonably priced). Definitely plan on returning w/my hubby this weekend to try the almond croissant!

I drive from Boca Ratón to La Crocantina in Doral for the Pistachio croissants. Im very disappointed with the service. No greetings, it was only me and the person before me. The two waitresses were all over the place, like they have no idea on how to take order, pack and move to next customer. The lady before me order 4 croissants and the guy that was packing it asked her like ten times how she wanted packed her croissants. She ask for 2 pistachio croissant and 1 Nutella croissant in 1 box; and 1 Nutella croissant in a separated box. He took easily 10 minutes and he packed it wrong 3 times consecutive asking the poor lady again and again, he is lucky this lady was a nice person. For my order I spent around $70. When I open my box all the cream on top of the Nutella and pistachio is everywhere since they stack the croissants on top of each other, I bought some for a gift and I have to go back inside to buy again since the other ones look all messy, I ask for a vanilla latte and my coffee was not properly closed but it did not have any vanilla syrup at all. I’m not a confrontational person but is very disappointed when employees don’t take care properly of the order. I didn’t have this for free and I drive a long way to get this type of rushing service when you are the only customer inside the store.
