The food at La Cocina Mexican Restaurant is very good. The service is very good according to the # of diners. The restaurant is extremely popular. Sometimes there is a wate. The wate is worth it. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend La Cocina. Parking: It is in a strip mall. There is always plenty of parking. Kid-friendliness: I see children of all ages dining there, and they are very well taken care of by the staff. Wheelchair accessibility: Outside, there may be a curb to move over.. There may be ramp I haven't noticed. Inside a little over half of the tables can accommodate a wheelchair.

2020: One of our favorite eateries. Tortilla chips are thin (good!). Wish the supreme burrito were a little larger and included a bowl of beans like La Cocina burrito. The shrimp cocktail recipe is different nearly every visit??! Update: Beware the tacos with barbacoa... They didn't drain the meat, leaving a wet mess. It spilled onto the table and my pants. 2024: La Cocina used to be my wife and my favorite Mexican spot. We were seated quickly for lunch midweek on one of the coldest days of the year; the place was half full. Our server was smiling, helpful, attentive. We (wife & I) decided to try the Fajita salad and Taco salad.... we both wish the meats were seasoned. The chef could take a lesson from Huey Lueys 4 miles down the road... they take the time to season the meat to enhance the flavor of the dish. It's one reason this spot is not our favorite Mexican restaurant anymore. Oh yeah, we wish the Musak was dialed to authentic Hispanic music, not the remixed elevator pop music that was playing.
