La Belle & La Boeuf - Burger Bar - Montréal - Sainte-Catherine O 18+

This is a place where I made fond memories with friends. They have amazing drinks there. And their poutine is pretty good!

During a leisurely stroll through downtown Montreal, my son and I, driven by a craving for burgers, ventured into La Belle & le Boeuf. Though it wasn't my first visit to this restaurant, it had been a while since I last dined here, a hiatus more due to Montreal's vast dining landscape than any fault of the establishment itself. Upon entering, we were promptly greeted and escorted to a cozy table for two near the bar, a prime location amidst the bustling atmosphere of the restaurant. Despite the crowd, the staff's efficiency in taking our order was remarkable. Anticipating a wait for our food given the busy scene, I was pleasantly surprised when our order arrived promptly. Our adventurous appetite led us to order a platter brimming with chicken wings, pogos, onion rings, fries, and sliders, an ambitious choice that proved to be more than we could tackle—even with a hungry teenager in tow. The portion was generous, to say the least. Throughout our meal, the staff maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness, ensuring our experience was comfortable without being intrusive. Their frequent check-ins added a personal touch to our dining experience. La Belle & le Boeuf stood out not only for its rapid service amidst a busy environment but also for its commitment to customer satisfaction through attentive service. It was a reminder of why, despite the abundance of dining options in Montreal, returning to familiar favorites can still yield delightful surprises.

Le son est beaucoup beaucoup trop fort, je souhaiterais manger des burgers en ayant une conversation avec mes amis ce qui nous semblait impossible durant notre dernière visite.

The food was good, nice ambiance but the waiter was not patient with questions and explanations.
