Horrible food, and generally loud, obnoxious clientele. However, if your looking for a loud, rowdy party with bad food and irritating company, this is the best place to go....
Horrible service and worse food at outrageous prices. This dive used to be the Fifth Quarter steak house and obviously has been boarded up for years. It's musty and old with half Spanish decor and half road house feel. It's huge inside while three large dining areas. There are 4 seemingly new pool tables. The menu is limited. I got a beef dish. The meat was very dry with a gross home made brisket type sauce on it. Bland white rice, coffee flavored black beans, some sort of pico else, and... a radish? $12 My wife got chicken nachos. Can't screw that up right? Wrong! Sam's club tortillas with melted American cheese and dried crunchy chicken. We had to ask 3 times for sour cream and quacamole. The quacamole was BROWN through & through, nut hey... the sour cream hadn't expired yet. $6 Our friend got the cheese enchiladas. Again smothered in gross cheese, not good. But worse was the side of "yellow" rice. Think of white rice with a few chicken bullion cubes... you got it. $12. Then we washed it all down with two for one drinks. It's a darn good thing too, because if I would have paid the normal $4 per bud light bottle, I think I would have screamed. Especially in this part of town. My wife's 8 oz margarita would have been $5.50 if it wasn't 2-1. I wish we had some good restaurants in this part of town, but this isn't one.
