Awful. Broth was super oily and had no taste. Bamboo shoot had a weird taste. Expensive for small quantities
Told me they are closed for 5 min I said okay he tells me to step to the side . I go exactly where he tells me. A random line appears and he automatically starts taking orders. I step back and say hey u told me to step To the side . He says he knows he knows and continues to take orders. I don’t know what kinda customer service you run but that isn’t okay. I literally live in the building attached to this market and I will never spend my money in this “ side place “ again. I will go to the actual ippudo location that treats customers with courtesy. 2/14/24 12:40pm
Flavorful and fresh. I always get Kuro Obi and Shishito Peppers. The price of ramen has risen with inflation all over the Lower East Side; however, if you dine in, this ramen is several dollars cheaper than the other neighborhood places, which is also reflected in the portions. This ramen is one meal, not two meals like a lot of other places, but tastes wayyy better. I love it. This location (Ippudo) is in the basement food court of Essex Market. Cool atmosphere with big tables. If you order via Uber Eats, the menu offers more dishes, the ramen is several dollars more, and there are multiple surcharges almost doubling the dine-in price. Dine in is best.
Honestly I really enjoyed. Good ratio of ingredients. I got the aka obi
I Genuinely dont understand the shockingly low reviews. Maybe quality is down for takeout orders? Ramen can get cold when you order it for delivery. The spicy ramen option may be the most savory and flavorful ramen ive tried its delicious! It warms the soul especially on a cold day.
We like Ippudo restaurants but this Kuro Obi has a terrible services and mediam food. I would not waste your time on this, would go to another restaurant around here.
Greasy, small, expensive… a shame to sell a ramen bowl like this
Could you please explain how you can charge me for an order that I placed and immediately cancelled? I became concerned that I wouldn't be able to make it to the restaurant before it closed, so I decided to cancel the order. I'm perplexed as to how you were able to charge me for an order that I never received. This has never happened to me before. Can you provide some clarification?
