KUMI Japanese Restaurant + Bar

We went here for our anniversary and it was fantastic. The appetizers are so good we had to get three. Same with the rolls. The white chocolate tees leches at the end was perfect.

With an expansive food scene, Las Vegas never disappoints! Kumi just fits right in. Food, vibe, and service all top notch! Superbly located in an ideal location within Mandalay Bay, which is also perfect for people watching!

I thought the food was quite good and fresh. The decor was great and had a nice vibe. Staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. The reason why I gave this place only a 4/5 overall was because of the price. Being from Toronto where there's a lot of great sushi places (and also factoring in the USD/CAD exchange rate), I feel the food here is a bit overpriced, so it lost 1 star for me for value.

Place looks great on the outside. However, when it comes to the inside and experience: An average service (restaurant was at 60% or less of it’s capacity). food quality and taste were disappointing. Finally, a $120.00 check for a small-appetizer of sashimis (all regular fish cuts) , a salmon roll (with big chunks of cucumber), a miso soup, and a bottle of water. So, overall experience was: totally disappointing

My favorite was the dessert Service was Excellent. Food was good. Food I thought was well price for today's high end inflation for a 5 star rest.
