Tiny hole in the wall and you just have to be lucky to walk by when they are open for that small window. Finally got to try the pandan ube and black sesame cheesecake and they were excellent. A little different style to regular say NYC style or even Basque - it's a bit more wet inside. Overall, good flavor and would be curious to try their savory foods as well. 2024.01.12
We came when they opened and got a special kuih set after waiting in line for a bit. We got the kuih to go so we could share with our family and we were disappointed with the flavors. Granted, this is our first time trying kuih so it could just not be our thing in general, but everything tasted the same. They all had some coconut flavor and I was expecting them to be different flavors. There were no description on the box or in the store other than kuih. I could have asked but the staff didn't seem too friendly and it felt like we were holding up the line trying to look at the counter. The desserts were not too sweet so that was nice. Overall I'm not sure if I would go back.
I got a variety of desserts here a while ago after passing by randomly and they were all great - nice flavours without being overpowering or too sweet. I still think of going back even though I live nowhere near NYC.
Compact unassuming Malaysian spot for authentic dessert! I came looking for pan dan flavored goodies and got a pan dan mousse cake. However the pan dan flavor didn’t not stand out as it should. A little disappointed.
The kuihs were so good and my friends loved the cheesecake.
