This was an unimpressive visit but my son hadn’t had Hibachi before so we tried it out. On Saturday night you could not get a reservation online but if you called in they could accommodate you. Upon arriving no one was there. Mostly empty space and kind of sad. Perhaps it was just an off night.
This is a Japanese style hibachi and sushi place. I ate at the sushi bar and ordered a Bento box. The soup came in a very cold bowl, so the soup was just warm. The salad was too cold and very bland. The first glass of wine was old, so they opened a new bottle. The only highlight was the sashimi was fresh and the tempura was very hot.
Kuchi was and our Chef Andy was entertaining not the ‘same ol Japanese Coca-Cola, egg roll and butter fly lines we’ve all heard for decades.
Great food, great service, with a fun hibachi experience! We got hibachi chicken, steak, scallops, and filet, and it was all delicious!
The place smells like old fish, the waiter described the appetizer and something different came back. The Godzilla Roll is completely tasteless. Let's put it this way, Publix sushi has better quality and smell
