Queued for 30 mins despite arriving at 9pm, the udon was on point - I had the smoked mackerel one, the fish was fresh and juicy, udon was al dente. Service was alright, not the most warming but thanks to their limited seating and constant flow of customers, I can see why.

Ordered tempura hot udon with my friend. Food was nice. But service is quite cold. We sat there about 45min. They checked the table every minute when you are nearly finish the food. And try all their method to let you leave quicker which makes me feel so terrible to stay there and enjoy rest of my noodle soup. We end up giving up finish all the soup and leave earlier than we expected. It’s only suitable for someone who want to finish their food quicker. Not a good place for you and your friend to enjoy food while having conversation. Not for longer than an hour …

Koya is an authentic japanese ramen joint and something more. You can taste some not-easy-to-find japanese dishes at the bar, besides a great variety of noodles served in different manners (atsu-atsu, hiya-atsu, hiya-hiya), and some daily specials not to leave behind. For me it’s a must when in London.

Slight wait but queue moved fast. Reliable tempura udon spot if you're in Soho.

It’s lovely place to go. Proper date place. Udon is lovely as well as their orange wine. Service is quite nice as well. The only problem is that they dont take bookings and you may end up waiting in the queue for long time. By “long”, i mean 30 to 45 minutes. It is definitely worth tho.

I think there is no need to queue up for this udon restaurant. After eating Sanuki udon noodles in Kagawa, Japan, I have a relatively high standard for udon noodles. The noodles here are too soft and have no chewy texture at all. They are not hand-made at all. The soup doesn't have a strong bonito flavor, and the tempura coating isn't crispy either. I feel like it's a bit like a failed Internet celebrity restaurant. Not worth the queue at all, the taste was mediocre and I won't be back. I think only the side dishes are okay.

Food was decent but nothing to shout about. It felt a bit like Marugame at loftier prices. Service was actually worse and colder than what one can get at Marugame, a more casual chain.

A bit of a small nook udon shop. Mostly counter seating so reccomend smaller groups as you won’t get a table. Most queue outside. Fast service once inside. Only critique is chicken karage could have used dipping sauce
