My wife and I have been dining here since they firsts opened, dining in or carry out often. This place used to have the very best food around, but has steadily gone down hill over the past year. During a dine in my wife’s scallops that came with the dish, didn’t seem fully cooked. Our last carry out, the egg drop soup was like hot water with eggs, no flavor at all. Teriyaki chicken was so dry, it was hard to chew. Flavor and quality, have definitely changed here, almost seems like some dishes are prepared fresh, while others are warmed up leftovers. Just an FYI, a restaurant must prepare and serve fresh, flavorful food to be successful. We’re going to take a break from eating here for awhile and come back in a few months to see if things have changed. Sorry, if my words offended anyone, just giving you some honest feedback to maybe help address issues.

2 years ago I gave this place 5 stars. It’s changed since then. I went in today to pick up an $80 order. I was told it was $93 and I asked why it changed. The young lady at the register told me there’s a mandatory 15% tip on takeout orders. I asked if I could decline the tip, and she told me that I could but I would be denied service there in the future. I told her I was ok with that. Yes - a mandatory 15% tip on an order that you pick up from them. On the food - they left out 2 sushi rolls from the order (so I guess they got our %15 tip anyway). The chicken in the sweet and sour was overcooked and dry like it had been sitting out for some time. The curries were good. The egg drop soup was ok. The Mongolian beef was a small serving compared to other places we’ve been. We won’t be back - we can’t go back since I didn’t pay a 15% tip for a pickup order!

Surprisingly NOT overly packed with customers, the staff are very polite, the prices are great, and the food is one of the best restaurant prepaired Chinese I've ever had, including PF Changs.

I expressed to waitress that food wasn't edible, that it was very soggy and no flavor, she got upset, and said everyone else likes their food. I was told they are not going to change their recipes because I don't like it. I didn't ask for that I did ask for some salt and pepper though. I have seen the reviews. I notice in the reviews that it was not the owner speaking it was an employee. I asked for owner's name and was told by one of his own employees that he is worst than they are (waitresses, cooks, and whoever was there at the time) and he wouldn't care what I felt, said, or thought about the service or food. I let them know they should not say those type of things about the owner, they need to be careful about who they're speaking to because they didn't know who I am. Especially when there's other customers there, it came off as they don't care about the customers or the quality of food that is being sent out. I have played many roles in this industry and wear many hats. I told one of the waitresses she needs to be mindful of what she says to customers because it affects her tip. I was very nice and graceful with her but she had attitude. She got very upset walked away and I heard her use curse words referring to me. And she used them while a child was present and I think it was her child or the lady that stated that owner wouldn't care what I felt, thought, or said. There were also other customers in the restaurant. I'm sure that the owner would not be happy knowing that some of his employees is causing him to lose a lot of money and a lot of customers. I guess they called themselves teaming up on me, (a buddy system) in the restaurant, that's bad for business. you don't do that with customers. If I said I don't like something regarding the food your response back to me should not be "well everybody else likes it" I'm not everybody else. As I stated previously the restaurant staff need to be mindful about who comes into the restaurant and sit down for a meal. Regardless of the prior weather disaster in that city the wait staff has no right to treat customers bad. I mean they were raising their voice being very sarcastic ugly mean rude. I didn't want to raise my voice I talk very softly and quietly because I didn't want their other customers to be involved with everything that was going on but they put on the show. My understanding is that the owner only speaks mandarin,at least that's what I was told and that I could come back in and speak to him but he might not understand me. he will be able to understand what's going on. Big organizations have translators that can be brought for the meeting.
