Korean Village Restaurant

Every time we come to Korean Village, it does not disappoint- form the warm welcome from Jay and his team, to the absolutely delicious food, all in all just always a certifiable good time, highly recommend!

Incredible food and exceptional customer service! This is hands down the best Korean restaurant in the city. Everything from food, ambience to the customer service was exceptional. As soon as we entered the restaurant, there were multiple people greeting us. The interior had a warm, authentic Korean hanok vibe with tons of space and seating, that is impressive considering it’s prime downtown location. The soondubu, kampungki and the kimchi pancakes were extremely flavourful! The owner personally came to express his gratitude after our meal and shared his family’s story and the restaurant’s history. They truely and wholeheartedly care about their customers and it reflects in every single aspect of this restaurant which makes it so special.

Similar to the other delivery review, portions are way too small. Ordered kampungki but they came in a snack size box.

DO NOT ORDER UBER EATS FROM THIS PLACE! They only fill the soups and rice 3/4 full. Why would I pay a premium price to be cheaped out of my $70 Uber order ? Too many great Korean restaurants to order from then to deal with this cheap restaurant. LESSON LEARNED! SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACH AND AVOID THIS PLACE!! TRUST!! I normally dont write reviews but this had to be said. Lots of great Korean restaurants in the area that actually care about service. edit: Yea, give me the same discount you offered the other 1 star reviewers who felt ripped off by their cheap serving size! Is it because you dont see the customer face to face?

This place has become like a second home to us. Best Korean food in Toronto and easily the best service. Jason and Jen are warm, accommodating, and true icons of hospitality. Cannot recommend KVR enough.

I took my friend to this restaurant for her first time experience at Korean bbq, we have never been there before and all I can say was it was an amazing experience, my friend and I left very happy, the staff and owner were so kind. The short ribs we had were the best ones I’ve ever had and I’ve been to plenty of Korean bbq’s. Thanks so much! We will definitely be coming back soon.

Cannot emphasize how amazing this place was. The bulgogi beef was the greatest bulgogi I’ve ever had the quality of the meat was second to none. Not to mention the owner kept coming to the table to check up on us and provide us with some great samples. They really know how to make you feel at home.

This is the best Korean BBQ place in Downtown Toronto!!! The staff are very warm and welcoming! The owner is the most sweetest restaurant owner I’ve met!! Come visit!!! I highly recommend the BBQ and the kimchi ❤️!!!
