The oldest korean restaurant in AZ did not disappoint. The jjajang (black bean noodles) was savory and the noodles were tender, Super delicious. The hot stone bibimbap was delicious, hot and crispy! The tteokbokki was spicy and perfectly chewy! The house soup had a mild but pleasant taste. All the side dishes were delicious and fresh as well. The service was excellent and the family that run the shop are super friendly. We will definitely be back for more!
This is one of my, if not my, favorite Korean restaurant in Tucson. Everytime I come here, I'm greeted with a great meal and there isn't a dish I tried that I wouldn't recommend. Having tried both their Galbi and Pork Belly KBBQ options, I was a fan of both. Personally, if there was one thing I'd say you have to try, it'd be the Galbi. The meat is brought out sizzling, perfectly tender and marinated. I always love having their tteokbokki or their ramen-tteokbokki combination, made just as spicy and sweet as I'd like. Don't miss out on their desserts either, highly recommend the patbingsu!
Good food at average prices in town. The kimchi and the fixings are really good.
Best Korean restaurant bar none!!
My wife is Korean and she likes the food and the staff here better than any other place she's tried in town. I had the deji bulgogi (spicy pork with onions) and it was very, very spicy, which is a good thing I'd say. My wife had the kalbi (beef short ribs and that was also a big winner. The side dishes you get at every Korean restaurant were not as varied as I'd hoped but I guess that's the trend nowadays. Overall it's a great place to get some good Korean food!
