Unfortunately very average for Swedish coffee about average for the Park Slope area. The 7.2 cortado was far too darkly roasted and bitter from the onset. Milk work was forgettable as well.
During our trip to New York, we went for a walk in the neighborhood and randomly picked this place, and and oh boy, was it a pretty lucky random pick. Its been half a year now, but we've been talking about their bagel ever since. One of the most cherished memories of all the trip, a true little gem hidden in Brooklyn. The atmosphere of the neighborhood is absolutely amazing, and the breakfast was the cherry on top.
An amazing spot for sure! The coffee with creamy and delicious. The service was great and quick. The bagel was filling with perfect amount of filling. Thank you to the staff that served us yesterday!
Just got the hot chocolate on a quick morning stroll and it’s delicious! Nice calm atmosphere in the cafe too. Haven’t tried the food but they have vegan and gluten free options and it looks like a great variety too, not the typical “here’s the one vegetarian option on the menu”
No bathrooms, mediocre food, expensive. Also the name/marketing is misleading. This is a bagel sandwich shop (that doesn't even make its own bagels). It's neither a bakery nor a konditori (which is German for "cake shop"), nor remotely European in anyway. They don't bake anything at this location and besides bagels, they only have some very ordinary american muffins and croissants.
No bathroom for customers…
I wish I could rate on a different scale because the pastries are quite good. But the bagel was awful and I ended up throwing out the coffee, it was so bad. I learned that separately my wife, who bought the coffees and we went our separate ways, threw hers out as well. I’ve never thrown a coffee out before and I’ve had bad coffee.
Got a dirty chai and the coffee tasted burnt and was disgusting. The chai was horrible and tasted old.
