Rounding up a bit from 4.5 stars. The place is super solid and well run. Service is great and competent from bar area (which is very attractive) to host desk to a great server at our table. The cocktail program is very good. Various apps (beef and tuna tartare, frog legs!) hit the spot w/o being super memorable. The schnitzel seems to be a star although the other diners were happy with their choices too (w/o being overjoyed). The desserts — chocolate and apple — were great and came with delicious ice cream. Well done!
I found myself calculating how long the tramezzino-style white bread, which takes the place of pastry crust, spent in the sauté pan; it’s crisp and golden, and yet the fish inside is medium-rare all the way through. And how exactly does one make the parsley-scallop mousse that forms a thin, delicious condiment sealing the bread to the salmon?
This is not a French restaurant. It is a modern restaurant with an Austrian focused menu with a wine list that has many French wines and some very good Austrian ones. Markus Glocker is a terrific chef who doesn’t need to be labeled French when his Austrian dishes are so good.

Had a bridal shower there. Food space and service amazing
Visited for brunch on Saturday. The croissant and pain au chocolat were ordinary but the duck liver parfait, ei im glas and schnitzel were very good. Prices are on the higher end but so is the quality. We were a bit apprehensive after reading a few negative comments about the service. However, everyone was exceptionally professional and friendly during our visit.
Had lunch at this place per recommendation from friends who are following chef Markus from previous establishments. Every menu is excellent. The bread is baked just right. We were swapping dishes with each other to be able to sample dishes in one visit. Friendly staffs.
