I saw your facebook post and I am very sorry. I hope I get to try your pastries before you close for good.
As the name might suggest this place does sell excellent, freshly backed Kolaches. They sell a variety of other pastry items as well. Although I came towards closing time the shelves were decently stocked and the pastries were fresh and delicious. It appears to be a family-run local business. This isn’t a dine in type bakery shop if that is what you are interested in. I enjoyed my experience with this bakery and I will probably be back.
Amazing friendly staff to help you decide! We had to try a little of it all and it was amazing! Love this place
Awesome food, donuts to die for. The drive from century, Fl was worth it. Very clean awesome customer service. You have to try it for yourself.
It was pretty good, the ladies were nice, and I tried the spinach and feta kolache & a pumpkin Danish. Both were fairly enjoyable, I think the spinach and feta would taste really good with an egg on there too! The only thing I didn't like was the ratio of filling to bread on the Danish! I still ate it and enjoyed it!
Always super good breakfast on the go, great staff and good eats
It's fortunate that I don't live near Kolache Bakery, because I'd gorge myself every day. I recently visited for the first time and got four kolaches. The plain old sausage variety is straightforward...it's about four inches of Conecuh sausage encased in a bun. Extra credit for Conecuh! The ham and cheese was fine. The boudin was fine. But. What was absolutely remarkable was the sausage and gravy kolache, which is a large, heavy round bun. Inside is ground up Conecuh link sausage, mixed with white gravy to a thick consistency. I ate it while I was driving back to Milton and almost turned around to go back for another one or five. This is a must-have! Incredibly clean store and super nice staff. I'd highly recommend a visit and the sausage and gravy kolache.
Kolache Bakery had a good amount of variety of both savory and sweet items. My family highly recommends the pulled pork and jalapeño sausage. The sausage/gravy and bacon/egg/cheese were also liked. As for sweets, we liked the apple fritter, peach danish and cinnamon twists. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly.
