Koko’s Bavarian

Koko's Bavarian frankfurters and bratwursts are hunger-fightin', taste delighting lushly delectable (hefty) portions of decadently mouthwatering indulgences. Cooked up fresh in tasty steamed buns, the savory and sumptuous offerings magically transform the purveyor back to a quaint Teutonic bazaar, replete with lederhosen and oompah music. The corn dogs, made from scratch onsite, make the fairground counterpart seem bland and humdrum. Couple the stupendous flavor with the on-point service and you have the number one destination stop at the Moody Center. Please advise Issac and his top-flight team for their energy, expedience and enthusiasm. Their exceptional performance speaks volumes to Koko's training and leadership.

Bastardization of a real German Biergarten. Not even remotely authentic. As a German, it is a bit insulting. WHAT is this?

Had them at a festival. Pretty skimpy on the onions. I had about 2 onion slices. Brat is fine, bun is fine.

Not welcoming at all. Came an hour and they served us and then was told to leave 30 mins before they actually closed and they didn’t tell the other 5 people there to leave, so it felt very targeted. Not good customer service at

Be sure to close your tab early. We left 15 minutes before closing and went to close the tab and they said “oh we already closed tabs and added a 25% tip”. Well 15 minutes before closing is plenty of time to ask to close the tab; they didn’t go around and say “please close your tab”; nope they did it on their own accord. Food was good. Beer was fine. Service was definitely not worth 25% of an unasked tip.

I’ve never written a review before but I felt like I had to over how my wife and I were treated tonight. We walked in at 11pm and were told we were only allowed one drink which we understood since the establishment closed at 12am. What was weird though is a group of three were served 6 drinks right before us so, why were we only allowed one drink each? It seemed as though we weren’t wanted there. Lastly at 11:30 a server told us we had to finish our drinks fast because they were closing. We were the only people told this. The other group outside that were served 6 drinks didn’t even finish their drinks and weren’t told to leave. I understand if they didn’t want to serve my wife and I and hour before closing but, I would respect that if you just didn’t take my money for the drink that was served to me. Just don’t serve me if you are gonna close early for the night. This is my first time and last time ever coming here. I have no idea if it is because my wife and I are interracial/ LGBTQ but the servers told us we had to finish quick while other people stayed outside. In my opinion don’t come here it is not inclusive.

Pros: Beer and Schnitzels are great, patio is excellent, the music they have some days makes the place special Cons: Sometimes is crowded, expect long lines, do not go in peak hours
