Kokoda

I was addicted to this place but in the New Year (Jan 2024) they changed for the worse. For some reason they switched out the ordering touch-screens for different ones, and at the same time downgraded their tuna both in the quality and the portions. I used to order the same thing every time, but now each serving of tuna on the bowl is noticeably smaller and less appealing in appearance, and the taste has gone from sushi-grade to highly suspect, meanwhile that same build-your-own bowl went from $17.50 to almost $19 for a degraded product. It's really too bad cuz I used to order here about once a week, but they must be trying to economize because it's gone downhill—which of course is not what you want for a raw-fish spot. I don't think I can come here again. Oh well.

Ordered on a whim as they had a buy one get one free sushi roll promo on ubereats and figured I’d try it. After a few bites, I just couldn’t finish. The rice was overcooked and a bit watery even, and the salmon didn’t taste fresh either. Overall, a tad disappointed in the food :(

We like their sushi snack rolls . Good price on Uber eats and good tasting . Recommend for a light snack .

We decided to try this spot and we ordered the Sweet and Spicy chicken bowls. It took 30 minutes to come out and the chicken was extremely low quality and some of it looked like it wasn’t cooked properly. We both were extremely grossed out, despite it tasting good. Maybe we should have gotten the poke but didn’t think we could go wrong. Very disappointing lunch.

I just started going here last week since sweetgreen was busy around lunch time. I got the spicy bowl with chicken it was sooo good down to the dressing that they use. The passionfruit mango juice was so flavorful and refreshing! I would definitely keep coming back here especially for the beautiful artwork and ambiance.

I like Kokoda but it has been hit or miss for me. Ordered two Lomi Lomi salmon bowl today and it was extremely fishy and didn't taste fresh. It's usually not like that, so I was worried about finishing the bowl.

Just okay Poke bowls. Online ordering is trash when they auto set tip to 10%. That's predatory. Also when I walked in to get my order, no one greeted me and I was standing right at the register. I had to find the pick up myself and just take it.
