IMHO this is the loveliest and friendliest wine tasting room in the county, not to mention the delicious wines themselves.
Winery in an industrial park, that was unexpected. Small, but nice interior. The one business decision, not to sell/serve any non alcoholic wine, seems very out of touch with today’s sensibilities. I had called ahead regarding the wine issue and they refused to allow us to bring a bottle of our own. Two of our group of seven do not drink alcohol. They could have simply had an uncorking charge, we’d would have happily paid it. I guess they are more concerned about their wine snobbery, than they are being great hosts and making everyone feel welcome and truly enjoying the evening on par with their friends. We were there to listen to a great blues band, but our friends couldn’t participate in the celebratory atmosphere of hoisting their glass of wine, multiple times throughout the evening. With such a non inclusive atmosphere we won’t be back. Besides, the expensive Cabernet Sauvignon was of the poorest quality.
Great wine and entertainment
Great space available for a private party. Lisa and her staff are wonderful in helping coordinate all of it. The wine is delicious and we had a fabulous time
A lovely wine bar and great source for well-crafted wine
Outstanding wine and proprietors of this wonderful winery. Richly rewarded over the years for their great wines, they also provide a great space to enjoy your wine and a cheese plate, or some live music some evening, or a crafty fair. Many events are hosted here. Kind people and good times. Highly recommended.
Love the staff and owners here, we always feel welcomed. The place is a diamond in the rough when you look at its location in a kind of industrial park back behind Home Depot in Carmel Mountain Ranch. Our daughter wanted us to bring her here for her first tasting for her 21st BD and Darius (owner/winemaker) went out of his way along with the other staff to make it an event to remember for her. They all took an interest in teaching her a little about wine. We are members and are glad to support this local, home-grown Mom and Pop winery and to stop in for our “free” monthly glasses of wine.
Happy hour was great as was the barbera.
