Service was poor, food made us sick.
Had an amazing time, food was great! Loved the live music. I will definitely be back
Delicious food at a price you can’t beat!!!
Absolutely amazing experience! The food is spot on. House-made EVERYTHING! From the smoked wings, pork, ribs AND brisket all the way down to the sauces. Weekly specials and complimentary house-made cornbread keep things fresh and exciting. Tuesdays they have LIVE music and the musician, Michael Robinson, is quite possibly the songbird of our generation. In addition to great food, great drinks and live music on Tuesdays, there is a SLIGHTLY older gentleman who bartends who could be considered an appetizer…cause he be lookin’ like a snack. Highly recommend!
I typically don’t leave reviews but I’m in sharing mood for the holidays. We didn’t have a reservation but they were able to get us seated in reasonable timeframe. The food was quite tasty. We had the mushroom pizza and wings as our apps. For entrees everybody liked what they got. French dip, brisket sandwich, salmon salad, and other things can’t remember. They were busy that night and server could have used more help but server was friendly and checked on us multiple times. Good neighborhood vibe. Definitely stop in and check them out.
Knotty Pine doesn't even always come up in Google searches for restaurants in Grandview. My son and I had the best burgers we'd had in years here a few weeks ago. The food is always stellar.
The Mushroom pizza is very good. We also liked the shrimp po boy.
Splendid dinner experience on Sunday. Atmosphere is joyful and wooden appeal is significant, while the booth seating is inviting. The entree choice was the meatball marinara sub sandwich. I was gifted by an ample portion of tender beef, which was generously covered in sumptuous marinara (tomatoes, basil, olive oil, garlic and oregano), and mozzarella cheese. Complimenting the entree was a nice 10 oz, 10% ABV Lock 27 Alpheus, which is a roasty Russian imperial stout. A joy to sip along with the marinara sub.
Pumpkin beer was too over spiced. However, coconut shrimp was perfectly battered and lightly fried, and the service was friendly.
