EDIT: This is now Duck Foot, they restored the great local vibes! Old review for Kings and Convicts: The vibe is weird now… jerseys on the wall, a SD Legion coat of arms… this was a surfer’s pub (it was hyper local), but now it just doesn’t fit into the neighborhood, now it’s just a generic rugby bar. Lost its Leucadia charm. The awesome staff and tasty beer are great tho… fits in downtown SD not in our community

Relaxing and relaxing

Absolutely incredible location in Leucadia with a chill atmosphere and welcoming tap room. First-time caller, so I went with a flight, obvs., of both West Coast as well as Double IPA's. Good but not great (hence the four stars), but gawddamn, Leucadia FTW, as this spot definitely wins for Location, Location, Location. Paz.

Great beers with punny names

Best beer, best staff, best evening events. Come for trivia/bingo, stay for the amazing beverages and hospitality. True care the community from this local establishment. A+

Best place for gluten-free / reduced beer. Need this in Oregon.

Tons of great gluten free beers to enjoy!Technically "gluten reduced" since it's made with gluten that is removed in processing. Each batch is tested to ensure gluten is less than 20 PPM. I've been going to their other location in Miramar for years and am so happy they are doing well in their new Leucadia location. We like to grab gluten free food from Nectarine Grove a few doors over and go to Duckfoot to enjoy GF beer with our food. My current favorite is DuckFruit. Their frozen beer-garitas are really good too!
