King's Chef Diner

Music was so loud we almost left when we walked in the door. We asked it be turned down but was told no. Did not enjoy the food or atmosphere due to the loud music! Will never be back, regardless of how the food tastes.

Been wanting to try out this place for a while now and wasn’t disappointed! The burrito was great and the green chili was perfect (maybe a little more on the burrito)! I will definitely be back and try other options. Good job

Best Breakfast burrito in COS.

Not sure what the hubbub is all about. Food was OK I guess, nothing out of the ordinary. Took an hour to get our food at 11:30am on a Saturday and it wasnt overly busy. There were 4 of us and we ordered eggs, hashbrowns, breakfast burrito, and a waffle. Had a side of bacon too that came out looking like a 40 year old burned up leather trunk. I told the server and she said something along the lines of "oh thats unfortunate". All customers sitting around with no food for quite some time. The menu is much too limited and simple for service to take this long. Definitely scratching this option off the list of breakfast restaurants to try.

Recently sat at their counter, ordered two eggs over medium well. I clearly heard the owner/cook tell the waiter "we don't cook eggs like that here, you can never get them right." I do not think the arrogant owner/cook let a customer hear him make such a comment. Then as I was walking out, I'm almost certain I heard the owner/cook make a negative comment about me and his staff laughed. I do not think I was being paranoid. I will not return to this restaurant.

Okay food, nothing really special except for the portion size. We were told multiple times, condescendingly, that the green chili was extremely spicy. She also said that I should order something else. When the food came out the green chili wasn't even spicy. Didn't save the leftovers and won't be back.

Excellent food

I was craving Hashbrowns this morning, and the 3 Veggie Omlet hit the spot!! King's Chef Diner in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, absolutely ROCKS...5 Stars for Food, Atmosphere, and Super Friendly Service!
