The fried shrimp review was mixed. My Dad liked them. I was not impressed. Self serve for the sodas and not a large drink menu. The food was a little greasy but the server was good. A little pricey considering the sandwiches dont come with fries. The fries were greasy with a coating(mixed reviews from my family on them). The grouper sandwich was salty and just okay. I left feeling like I needed to go get something I enjoyed. I will pass on this place. Its damp and dark inside and the food was unimpressive. The two good things were the fish was fresh and the server was good.
$12.99 fried shrimp basket, other place we stopped at started at over $20.
It's a small friendly place, you won't be disappointed!
key west direction.. .we eating here with Conch fritters, all very good.. Crew very kind and so cute.
We have bought excellent fresh seafood from the market side many times but this was my first dinning experience here; I didn't know what I was missing! Six of us enjoyed lunch one afternoon. Everything was great! Pleasant, casual place with excellent food! I had seafood burritos that were delicious: freshly prepared fish, crispy greens and a fantastic sauce. Everyone at our table choose a different lunch selection from the surprisingly diverse menu. All of us were very pleased with the meal. The restaurant is like eating in someone's enclosed porch...in a good way. Try it, I think you'll be pleased..I was and I'll be returning again!

I was so hungry thought I would just stop at the next place that I seen and happy that I did You order at the counter and pay before you sit and wait to hear your number called out and get up to get your own food and sliverwear endless refills for soda I had grouper soup I ordered a small that was huge it went well w/ lime squeeze in it also had a grilled grouper sandwich that came w/ slaw and a nice cuben roll yum tried the seared fish over yellow rice I didn't care for that it was more tasting of tomato then a saffin yellow rice and good thing I didn't eat it because the person I was with ate it and got really bad belly ache I was fine

"The prices were good" as my husband says. My fish was over battered, the yucca was barely crispy, tostones (spelling:/) were super thick. I will not return, if I want some Cuban food I'm heading towards Miami or my in laws house:)
Seafood is incredibly fresh. Order the fish croquet its as big as an eggroll. Had the Minuta Sandwich (fried snapper), came with lettuce, tomato, diced onions and tartar sauce, for $6 bucks!!! They have a variety of Latin side dishes including, yellow rice, yuca fries with pesto mayo, fried plantains, and traditional crispy French fries. Seafood market features, conch steaks, large crab cakes, shrimp and conch ceviche, snapper, hogfish, mahi, grouper, huge stone crab claws. Will definitely be back, VANESSA
