This is for a take out order. My personal favorite Thai restaurant recently shut down. Saddened, I looked around to find another Thai place in reasonable distance from me. (I don't use delivery ever). Went to King and ordered my standard Pad See Ew with Egg and tofu. Two pretty basic items found on any Thai menu. Food came out hot, when I got home that is where everything went downhill. The pad see ew was mushy and the noodles completely over cooked and terrible. Not to mention super sugary. -4/10 I didn't know you could call yourself professional and put out such terrible food. Don't go here.
We ordered pad kee mao and pad see ew for delivery. What we got had no visible noodles. The noodles were mush. It was delivered within 20 minutes of order so not drivers fault.
Growing up King of Thai was my favorite Thai restaurant in SF. I have grown up loving the Pad Thai, Ka Prao, pad see ew. I was so excited when one opened in Fremont. Unfortunately, this location has been a hit or miss for us. More recently, and the cause for this 1 star, was the worst of it… I ordered Pad See Ew yesterday for delivery and it was so overcooked the noodles disintegrated…. You can’t even tell there are noodles in here. Also very overpowered flavor of ginger. I’m so disappointed… really hope the quality improves!
We just ordered pad kee mao, panang curry and thai ice tea. Food was a huge disappointment. Pad kee mao was tasteless and thai ice tea was completely watered down. We will never order from here again. I would suggest others to take their business somewhere else if you want decent food.
Pad thai was not pad thai. The noodles they used were pho noodles. Also did not taste nothing like pad thai.
Ordered their Guay Tiaw Lord Noodle, DISGUSTING! The noddle came in huge layer of un-mixed/fried noodle (all white, sauce untouched), the shrimp and squid tasted and smelled extremely rotten, and the fish ball + fish cake are of the utterly lowest quality one you can find in the supermarket... Flavor-wise, the fish cake is extremely salty, noodle has no flavor, the tiny bit of sauce at the bottom are weirdly sweet... Seriously, for ~$18 you give me this pile of junk?
Great pad kee mao and the foods are in a big portion! I brought my friend from Bolivia and this was her 1st Thai foods and she loves it. So far, great experience! Will come back Parking: They are located at the end, so there are plenty parking space. The area is quite.
Just a heads up. This is not authentic Thai food. I am Thai and this is by far the worst Thai food I've ever had in my life. The fact that they are even allowed to represent Thai cuisine, is a complete joke. Like the other reviewer mentioned. The pad Thai is literally watery noodles that are so wet and mushy. They fall apart when u pick them up. The picture he provide in his review is exactly how my dish looked and it was a disgusting mess. Not to mention the pad Thai comes with over cooked broccoli. You won't even find brocolli in Thailand, let alone in any dish. The salmon was American super dry Salmon with you guessed it, overcooked broccoli and the most bland curry sauce I've ever had. I took two bites and threw it away. The same for the pad Thai. Literally took 3 bites. Tried to mix it up hoping that would help and nothing. By far the worse non authentic, worst tasting so called Thai food I've ever had. If u decide to eat here or u have eaten here. Please try another Thai restaurant in the area and I promise you that you will immediately see the difference and taste the difference between authentic Thai food and the horrible bland americanized non authentic Thai food from this place. Their cuisine is a disgrace to Thai culture and cuisine. They need to remove Thai from their business name. Anyone that says this food I'd good. Has never had authentic Thai food and clearly doesn't know good quality food.
Great service and food! We love it so much that we return weekly and the lady already knows what we like. I do however, agree with some of the reviews that service could be very slow when they're busy, but with staffing shortages across this industry, we understand as long as the communication is there.
