KINDRED

As a 5 year Kindred veteran, I am not impressed with the changes. The old crew before the pandemic had impeccable service. They have been replaced with some kids that don't have a clue and will probably never get to know my name. It felt like Cheers here, like a family, now it is cold and impersonal with no personality. The new menu items are a hit or miss. I ordered the same thing every single day of the year and now it is gone. Do not bother with the Carbonara, it is bland, unflavorful, poor texture and substandard in every way. I used to promote this place like crazy, posting my food every day because that is how much ai come as a bachelor. Now they get my business lie once or twice a month.(As of 4/28 I have not been back. The prices keep getting higher and the food is getting worse).So sad about the lackluster changes. Thankfully they have Cheyenne still or I may not come back for awhile. Oh yeah and they reduced their portions by 2/3 and raised their prices. Not cool at all. Devastated regular turned off!

Dinner rezzies at 6pm on a Sunday with my boo. Scored! All plants. All vibes. The spirits are artful and the food slaps. Definitely returning for brunch!

Freaking phenomenal place!! Super cool vibe, amazing food, great drinks, and stellar staff!! I go to Kindred at least once (usually more) every time I’m in SD!!

Who doesn’t love a vegan death metal bar with flowers & delicious edgy cocktails? The bathrooms were decorated so fun, they even had different music playing in there! & the portrait in the bathroom with the guy without a shirt holding a cat?! Priceless.

I reserved a table but I got poor seating away from the heating. The food arrived 45 mins later. We ordered the burger and the skewers. Both the dishes were so cold, as though it had been sitting out for a long time. Burger was average (nothing special) and the skewers were fine. The only reccomendable dish was the Baklawa cheesecake that we ordered in the end. Overall, okay place. Maybe it’s good for the drinks but definitely not worth visiting again for the food. Not interested in paying so much for low quantity and quality….

Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had!! We tried the BBQ yuba, hot potatoes, egg roll burger, & the mind melt and everything was delicious. The vibe was a cool feminine grunge, service was good. Highly recommend

This was truly frustrating, I frequent Kindred and know good food takes time. It’s a Thursday night, the restaurant was half full. I showed up and requested a table and jumped on the wait list for a 5 top. I proceeded to the bar and had a cocktail which was served immediately. I pumped Kindred up hard to my boss and colleagues only to ultimately wait for an hour outside. That’s after me waiting at the bar and drinking my drink. We never made it in and ended up going to Buena Forchetta. It wouldn’t have been so frustrating if the hostess wasn’t so miserable and short with me. I am a kind person who always thanks people and know what restaurants take to run especially like Kindred. I guess what I am saying is maybe evaluate the very unpleasant person you have not welcoming people to their seats at your amazing restaurant. Dietary restrictions: Vegan only but so worth it
