I went here with my friend, and my partner. We got not much food and it took 1 hour and 30 minutes. My partners food had so much hair in it, and they had run out of almost everything on the menu. The people that I saw going in the kitchen had no hairnets either, gross. I don't even want to start on the bathrooms. They had a lot of soap on the ground, the tiles were cracked, and the vents were just... There. Also the lock didn't work for me.

1/26/24 EDIT: While we were dining here, we found out that the owner and chef, Kim, sold this beloved restaurant to take care of her sick husband. The new owner is friendly, but the reality is: Is the food still good and will I come back? Yes. Is it AS good as it was? No. The name, menu, & atmosphere is still the same with the new owner, but ultimately my heart is just sad for Kim and her family :(. ——————————————————- The beef bibimbap is 10/10 and the banchan is so good. The staff is so friendly and always offers to refill the banchan. I love this place!

The bibimbap was wonderful and well-portioned, and the waitress was really kind—she gave us fresh fruit at the end of our meal. The gyoza were also delicious, and the ambiance inside is great. I highly recommend!

This was arguably one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. The scallion pancake was greasy and bland, all the vegetables on the bibimbop tasted pre-chopped and the sauce tasted like bottled teriyaki. The mandoo likely came out of the freezer section at a grocery store too. This place must be paying or bribing people to give good reviews. I’d give it a 3.2/5 star at best. This is not a Korean restaurant and this is most definitely NOT good food.

Excellent food and very friendly accommodating service. The menu is small but what they serve they do very well.

Great atmosphere, food, and service! They play jazz in a way where it's nice and relaxing but you can also have a good conversation.

Visiting Chicago in Nov’ 23 and we were on lookout for sushi spots. It was raining and also pretty cold out IIRC, this was a Korean sushi fusion spot so we decided to stop by here. No idea any of the dishes we ordered, but the last photo of dish with egg in center was mine. It was great, spot on. We shared little of each from every plate. All food was good actually. The plate that was almost all green color, that was excellent too. Like I said, all dishes here were excellent, enjoyed this Korean/sushi spot in Chicago. Pretty great, hopefully can visit again.
