Definitely one of my favorites!
Some of the best home cooked tasting meals we've had in a long time. The wife and I had to try a little of everything. We had Fish & Grits, Salmon Cakes, Oxtails & Grits and even Chitterlings and Rice. All were delicious. Service was great.
I ordered the fish and grits plater, no toast scrambled soft with cheese and add cheese to my grits a large apple juice with lite ice. I also order a side of fried shrimp I ordered this in person. I only received one piece of fish no cheese it was just all wrong will note be going back.she also didn’t place my order of shrimp so I I received is one fish, grits and overcooked eggs. I wish I could add a picture. This made my morning so sad
So happy with breakfast! The oxtail and grits was amazing! So delish!
Spent 21.40 on fish shrimp and fries and a drink I’m not amused or happy about this poor portion truly not worth the money. The box is so small couldn’t even give you a decent amount of food for how much was spent.
Kim's Cafe' at 714 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd B in Savannah, GA, came highly recommended by a local, and it exceeded all expectations. The vibrant and lively atmosphere, adorned with beautiful murals and artwork, reflects the rich tapestry of African culture. I opted for the Breakfast Platter with 2 eggs, over-easy, sausage patties, hash browns, and toast – a nostalgic taste reminiscent of my mom's cooking. Cooked to perfection, it was a delightful start to the day. The BBQ Ribs Platter was a feast for the senses, featuring succulent ribs, mashed potatoes, broccoli, peas, and cornbread. A combination that's hard to resist and even harder to find fault with. Despite a busy service time, the staff at Kim's Cafe' remained remarkably attentive. Always ready to answer questions, yet discreet when not needed, creating a pleasant dining experience. Overall, Kim's Cafe' left a lasting impression, not just for its delicious offerings but for the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend taking a detour to this gem in Savannah. Allow some extra time, strike up a conversation with fellow diners, and enjoy the company of the genuinely nice people who will make the visit even more memorable. A culinary and cultural delight in the heart of Savannah!
The food was cooked well on the outside but cold on the inside.
Everything top notch... Can't wait to go back
