KFC Reading Gate Retail Park

This place needs a deep cleaning!! Even if its not busy,dirty tables,chairs,everywhere greasy finger prints….last time I eat in or ordered from here….Very dissapointed.

Went there for dinner then I ordered some food for the family after that the machine keep on saying try again and I have already scanned my card went to the counter and the guy told me order again I did so to another machine so I paid twice when I checked my balance I noticed I have paid twice went back to the counter and showed them my balance they denied to refund my money back I swear I will never eat in this place again no matter how hungry I will be but I will let karma do it work I swear

Great for a quick bite to eat. Good location so plenty of parking and it has a drive through.

Sadly kfc uk has really ruined their quality of the food and now has come to a cost where it’s becoming expensive to eat here ,now so unfortunately makes me not eat at this restaurant anymore ,the food quality does not match the price they are charging now and that’s the truth The chicken just doesn’t have the spice like it used to to make it really enjoyable to eat , and it’s not giving me the urge to want it more and more , the chips have been ruined , and some chips have more skin on than anything else , the new seasoned chips are only for people of a certain taste , The French fries was a lot better , Unfortunately the company has no original Pepsi anymore which was a fan favourite , wooden spoons are just making the taste of the beans taste like wood , It’s just not how it used to be I see the kfc company is loosing profit year after year and sadly it’s customers are not returning , and I am also included , with the price it now is , it’s not worth my money , the quality is as good as any chicken shop you can find anywhere now , I really hope kfc looks back at the past at see what they done right , and maybe Will gain some more customers but the quality of the food just isn’t there for me anymore

UPDATE: Branch has improved significantly since owner changes. Awesome chicken and fries! Highly recommended. ORIGINAL 1*: Considerably bad quality than other KFCs, and not for the first time. Took a takeaway of the double stack zinger meal and was highly disappointed. The branch wasn't that busy but still I got undercooked chips and a burger that looked like a deconstructed one, someone literally threw that buns and the burger in the box. Also quantity wise the chips were far less quantity than other branches. Do NOT go in Tuesday when they're having promotion, they serve stale chicken and fries. The quality is so bad that it's no wonder this store stays empty while the next McDonalds has a 50 cars long queue. Stale dry tough microwaved popcorn served
