Kerbey Lane Cafe - Northwest

I have lived in Austin for 40 years. I love Kirby’s but the experience was not what I was expecting. I loved the server, but either she was new and was in training, but the order for my pancake got separated from the rest of the food. As a result, they brought the pancake early. When somebody realized what they had done, they took the pancake back and put it under the warmer until the rest of our food came.A second person, picked it up from the warmer and brought it back to us again. Again the food had not been received. My coffee was cold. I had to send it back and get another cup. The second one was warm, but not hot. It was a disappointing visit. I must say I have always love to go to Kirby‘s. I do miss the older Kirby where the restaurant was smaller, and the food was delivered quickly after it was cooked.

Food and service were great

Sat at the bar for a 5-10 mins and nobody acknowledged us. Baristas continued making drinks without any help. The place was not even busy.

I’ve been going to kerbey lane for over 30 years. This location does not disappoint. They even made me my favorite cinnamon raisin pancakes great service.thank you

Food is was cold, tea tasted soured. Worst experience at a Kirby Lane ever.
