The Kentucky Inn is a a fun neighborhood hang out and a iconic bar of the 40s, the owner Jim Armstrong is an amazing entrepreneur and I was very honored and excited to be chosen to help with the renovation of the new booth, tables, barstools, and paint job. It has been serving this community since before World War II when the Gates rubber company had three shifts running, and workers would come by at six in the morning as they got off of work for something good to eat and cold beer and a place to smoke and although smoking is long gone on the inside the bar still carries age, kissed Surface of the old ashtrays and elbows. Not to see the Kentucky Inn is to miss what South Denver all about.
A very typical neighborhood bar. Not great. Not terrible. They have a decent number of local taps. However they're all pretty cliche, predictable beers. Nothing very interesting. Servers and bartenders have always been great, but they do seem short staffed at times. Food has been decent. Burger I got last time, I ordered med rare and it was well done. Almost unforgivable.
Our new neighborhood bar cause we love Red!!!
Good Friday fish fry but $22 for two small fillets and some greasy fries is way…way too much. Those are Kobe beef prices. Bad loud music too The waitress was sweet
An awesome place with awesome people. The TouchTunes Digital Jukebox they have is super cool too.
Clean, laid back neighborhood bar! Great place to relax during the week or meet up with friends to cheer on your favorite sports team on the weekends!
Great spot! Great staff! Weak HH.
