Good sashimi, a little frozen. The buns are good but kind of pricey. Bento box seemed like a good deal but there was only 1 meat selection. Server took a pretty long time to come greet us though we had water and tea brought over very quickly. Not sure why that was. Overall nice but there are better service and prices restaurants out there.
Ive been coming here at least once a week, sometimes 2-3 times a week. I've been ordering the same thing: "moriawase sashimi, replace octopus and yellowtail for branzino" for the past 2yrs. No problem. However tonight, I ordered exact same and they said that they can only take the octopus and yellowtail out but it will be chef's decision what to replace. My dinner was $90 for 2ppl and I can't choose what I want to eat. This will be my last time here.
I placed a delivery order so I can’t comment on the actual restaurant but it took almost 2 hours to have a 5 piece roll and a 2 piece roll ($22 for a 2 piece roll is absurd on its own) get delivered. Both portions were tiny and arrived ice cold (both rolls had cooked protein so there should be no reason for it to be as cold as it was) The food itself tasted good but for the ridiculous wait and price I’ll be avoiding in the future.
Delicious meal. Fast and friendly service. Generous portions.
Best sushi in the area. And that's saying a lot considering the abundance of good sushi in the area.
Placed a togo order, it took about an hour which is fine but once i got into the car, pretty sure my food was sitting there for a bit. I went earlier then the pick up time and they said to come back at the pickup time because it wasn’t ready. I opened up the food and the Duck bao bun were soggy. The 2 rolls, a reg salmon roll & the chutoro negi roll were honestly very below average, didn’t eat even half. The salmon belly ala cart was also not very fresh.
One of my favorite sushi places in suburban Maryland! Explore a more interesting menu with delicious fish. Excellent service.
