A must when we stop in the strip district. I have food allergies (milk and egg) and can find lots of vegan options that are delicious and unique. My husband is a meat-and-potatoes-type picky eater but raves about this place.

a cozy restaurant, fast service, and great food. a bit pricey.

I ordered the grilled jerked chicken torta, and it was a fantastic sandwich! The chicken was spicy but the cool lettuce and tomato tamed it down. There was also a delicious mixture of what I think was pesto and oil as well, giving the necessary wetness to the sandwich. I selected an accompanying mound of crispy waffle fries, who doesn't love waffle fries? Julie was a great server to me and the vibe inside is very inviting and laid back. Excellent food and service; will be back to try Sunday brunch soon!

We saw this restaurant online and decided to try it..to say it was fabulous is an understatement!! Our waiter Cooper was awsome!! He knows the drink menu as well as dining menu and made great recommendations! I had a grapefruit basil cocktail he recommended and it was amazing!! We had the bean dip again recommended by our waiter!! Delicious!! For my main meal I had the jerk half chicken..It was FABULOUS!! the papaya and plantains cherry tomatoes and parsley was absolutely delicious!! I had jerk chicken in the Caribbean and this is exactly like the islands!! They do not rush you to eat as a matter if fact they bring your drinks and appetizer and give you ample time to enjoy it before they bring your main meal..it is a small venue and reservations are recommended but it's a place not to be missed!! We are planning on going back in the future..we are not familiar with alot of restaurants in Pittsburgh but so glad we found this online!! Highly recommended!!!

Kaya is one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. Great food and service. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options are labeled in the menu Dietary restrictions: There's a separate gluten free menu. Servers are also very knowledgeable about gluten free options and how dishes can be modified.
