Our sandwich and cheesecake were both delicious!
Everything was delicious! Will definitely be back
Little NY Deli in the burbs. Gotta love it. It was busy. I'm glad I looked at the menus ahead of time. I still was awestruck and went basic. Got a plain bagel with scallion schmear and Turkey Provo on white. Bagel was phenom; bouncy, chewy, moist, and delicious. The sando pulled high with meat. No dinky sammich here. It needed more sauce cause the meat was meating. It's no frills, but the purity of food beats the presentation
My family and I have eaten here for at least fifteen years, more so when they were across from the Arboretum. It’s nice to have the familiarity of nice and accommodating staff along with a killer menu. This really is the best Reuben in the city, and this is the only place I go when I need an authentic, true NY experience. The quality is phenomenal - I have never had such fresh roast beef, and the matzo ball soup is a favorite, too. I recently visited and flubbed my order but they were quick to get me a fresh cup on the house. And the cheesecake? DELISH! Despite rising prices, we will remain loyal. You get what you pay for and it is beyond worth it!
You're not going there for the atmosphere... It's all about the DELI. Lee and crew are great. Exactly what you would expect from a NY style deli. Have been going for years and hope it continues on. Breakfast and lunch, but to go orders for the next days sandwich. Fantastic!!! Try the open-face Reuben. Ps. Once you get to know the people, sit back and enjoy a little piece of New York and it's personal feel in South Charlotte. Thanks guys, you're the best.
So enjoyed my food at Katz's Deli!! I was so comfortable there.. Thank you Lee for a Great Lunch. I felt like I was home in NJ
The rueben had a perfect combination of sauerkraut, pastrami (or corned beef), Swiss cheese and thousand island dressing. It was accompanied by a well seasoned coleslaw and a crispy dill pickle. My friend had the large pastrami on rye with a side of fruit: When we asked for our food to go, they carefully wrapped it in deli paper and included a fresh pickle. Definitely a winner and a must-try Jewish delicatessen in Charlotte, NC!
We were looking for a traditional deli and this is the closest my husband has had to the delis in the Boston area he remembers from years ago.
