Katy's Dumplings - Oak Park

Just don’t… Had to ask each time for: -Water -Straws -Bowls -Sauces -check -containers -plastic bag -Missing items which we ended up canceling because everything just took too long. We were there for 1.5 hrs and we ordered as soon as we sat down. Food was NOT good, dumplings were bland and dry. Broth was flavorless. Took my mom and 5 year old daughter for dinner at 7pm on a weekday. Gave my name right after another gentleman in front of me and I could FEEL the exasperation from the frantic host. After awkward pauses of her staring at me and back and forth to the gentleman, she took my name. Waited 20 minutes to be seated. When there were 2 clean and set tables, I asked how much longer and host said 10 more minutes! I asked if we could be sat at one of the open tables and she reluctantly sat us. They had a lot of take out orders. Seems like they prioritize those customers more than actual tipping ones in the restaurant.

I loveeeee, loveeeeee loveeeeeee it here ! When I tell you I am HOOKED on the spicy ️ grandma's friend rice and the Crab Rangoon is my secret addiction. My coworkers and I eat here at least once if not twice a week! 30/10

Food selection is good, but the noodle is not as I remember in Lombard location. It feels and taste more like udon noodle than pull handmade noodle.

Ridiculousness. Ordered $50 of food on Grubhub from this place. They forgot the egg rolls. Called the restaurant and they refused to send a driver with the items we ordered. They were happy to charge us for it, though. What kind of business does this? On a scale of 1-10, the food that did show up was a 4. Orange chicken was a mushy mess. Never again.
