Francisco our waiter was amazing
We do love Katsuya and have been many times, but unfortunately there are always issues. When you make a reservation you shouldn't wait more than 10 minutes to be sat. When we come here, we always wait a while even with a reservation. Last time we specifically chose the dining room when making a reservation (the large space) and instead they sat us in the loud bar/lounge. We didn’t make a fuss, but this was extremely annoying because we wanted the better atmosphere. The food is always yummy but our server this time was also rude and it really ruined the experience. I do want to note that the food quality is always very good!! This is the only thing that brings us back. I really wish the restaurant would care more about the experience as a whole because it comes out to about $100 a head. For a cute night out, we still like it, but we just have low expectations for how we are treated…. and to be honest there are soooo many better spots in the area, we don't go much anymore!
The food was not great. The dinners were brought out piecemeal. The last dinner served came 14 minutes after mine.
Amazing sushi restaurant!
The sushi is delicious here. The fried rice with wagu beef is great.
The food is absolutely amazing. Seevice is slow and with a touch of attitude (hostesses) atmosphere is good but for most part looks like another restaurant was repurposed for it. We had the Crispy Rice Tuna, rock shrimp, rainbow rolls, crispy Brussels Sprout and few other things but these were the clear winners Parking: Valet in the front for $12
Small portions, short rib (with tomahawk bone as garnish) dry and overcooked, big open space not impressive
