Tried Katella Deli again. What disappointment. Went there for their Passover dinner. Brisket was dried out and over cooked. Showed manager and she said it was fine. Obviously, she has no idea of what brisket is supposed to look like when cooked properly. The server lied when I asked where the vegetables were on the plate she said they were hiding. There was no vegetables on the plate. There is no longer any management at this deli and this is no longer a Jewish deli. No one cares about the service or food at this establishment. So sad, use to be a really good deli.
You'll never get wrong. 4 season cake was a delight and all guests liked it.
Went to Katella Deli tonight, for the 1st night of Passover, and ordered the Passover Roasted chicken. Food itself was excellent but only received a half of a matzo to go with the meal. When Giuseppe, who works in the kitchen, dropped off our meals we asked him if we could bring us another piece of matzo. He immediately came back with more. He didn't have to do that but such a little act of kindness really meant a lot to us and made our Passover meal all the special. Thank you Giuseppe, you made our night!
It's the best spot for brunch! The brownie surprise was a perfect ending
This establishment is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!
❤️ Denise, she is a great manager, assisted & accommodated our party of 16 birthday celebration & everything was perfect.
Delicious food and good service! My favorite is the chicken breast melt with fries and the Matzo ball soup. The cherry hamentash is my favorite dessert.
Always love the Katella Deli! Great food and atmosphere..
I am disabled and there were no parking spaces available for my lift to get out of my van on my scooter. I called in my order and the nice lady said that she would bring it out to me. Well, it was lunchtime and the place was packed. I tried to call and let the desk I was ready to pick up my food. The line was busy, then I held on for 15 minutes. Finally a really nice man stopped after I waved him over. I asked if he could tell the to go people I was there. He came back and said that I was supposed to call back with my credit card number. He saw my card in my hand. He asked if I would trust him to pay for and bring back my food. He did and I thanked him profusely. Just wanted to share a story about a nice man and our food that was delicious! I recommend Katella Deli. It is expensive but worth it.!♡
