One of best japanese and sushi places in town. But you already knew that. A go to.
First visit here. Atmosphere is very loud and busy during lunch time. Very attentive staff. Ramen is good. It needed some salt. Only condiment on the table was soy sauce. The fish was very fresh. Sushi was good. Looking forward to next visit to try more items.
The line out the door is constant. Decided to try it. Ordered a bowl and some sushi. Ordinary. Decided maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Went again. Ordered lobster Mac & cheese with some sushi. Ordinary. And the staff at the front door gives zero love. Not going back.
The best lunch specials in my opinion .
Absolutely love Kata Robata. Been here many times and it's a perfect dinner/date night restaurant and lunch too. The menu has a multitude of options and after having so many different things, I've never had anything I didn't love. The food is very fresh, especially the fish/sashimi. I crave the wagyu sando frequently, it's the best thing on the menu in my opinion. The dessert is also tasty. Service has always been phenomenal, always being checked on, glasses full, and table cleaned - everything. Love this place, will keep coming back and recommending to others. Parking: A lot of parking available in the lot.
Top notch sushi experience. We did the Omakase and it was something different but delicious, with flown in fish from Japan. It wasn’t cheap and I would probably pass on it next time but it was great to experience. Service was top notch and for as authentic as it was, the menu wasn’t overpriced. On of Houston’s best!
