Kasa Moto

So we came here for ayce brunch to celebrate a birthday. The hostess at the front acknowledged the birthday as noted in the reservation but that’s where it ended-meaning the waitress did not mention it or even ask if we were celebrating anything which is very customary to do. The food was mediocre at best. Some dishes stood out like the wagu fried rice, udon noodles, and the beef dish. Otherwise, rest of the items including the sushi were not good. They added wasabi under each piece of negeri so we couldn’t eat it (isn’t that something that is left on the side?) the bao was so dry and flavourless and the Katsu Sando was on wonder bread and again the meat was dry and tasteless so we left it. The drinks were a good selection atleast so we had 2 each. So for the service this is where they really fell short. We waited 30 minutes for 1 singlepancake (in photos online the pancakes were served 2-3 stacked)and again desserts were just OK nothing special but it was very disappointing that staff did not acknowledge the birthday by at least adding a candle to the desserts or writing something on it. Needless to say my 30th birthday celebration was a dud at this place. We won’t be coming back anytime soon. Quality has greatly decreased and it’s shame as my other experiences here in past years have been amazing.

The quality of the dishes was definetly not worth the high prices. Small portions, the meat skewers were bland and tough, the seafood was not fresh tasting, other dishes were too salty (brussel sprouts), still left hungry. Quite loud and dim lighting effected the poor dining experience. The service was ok. There are other way better restaurants.

We came to Kasa Moto for their weekend best all you can eat brunch and frankly left pretty disappointed. This was our first time at Kasa Moto, expecting a great experience based on their reputation... and at a price point for $100 per person, the AYCE brunch was NOT worth it. The main issue was that dishes came out at a snails pace. We were constantly left waiting between 15-20 minutes between dishes, the longest we waited was for over 30 minutes for our desserts! We even had several of our orders missed or they just didn't arrive at all, and ultimately we gave up, had our dessert and left because we spent 3 hours there, most of the time was spent waiting at the table with no food. I don't know if this was a tactic to try to dissuade your guests from "ordering too much" from the AYCE menu... which feels cheap for an upscale restaurant... but what's the point of marketing the brunch as all you can eat if you don't serve the dishes in a timely manner to your customers? Poorly planned and executed, and it felt like a waste of my money. Head over to MARKD instead, for an upscale AYCE brunch, at the same price point it's a bang for your buck and the food, the portions, and the service are stellar.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service the atmosphere and food was amazing. I went for the all you can eat brunch they were quick on replacing the glasses and serving the food overall an amazing experience
