Came here with my family over one of the week days for lunch. Good place to get solid food and the atmosphere was solid as well. For a drink we ordered some Micheladas which were nice, for mine I chose Dos Equis as my beer. For my food dish, I ordered the Fish Tacos plate. It came with 2 tacos, battered and fried with a side of rice and beans. Nice food and nice restaurant.
Food was decent but not close to Karinas in Chula Vista. Also they charged more than the menu price and said Menus were old. Terrible response
I LOVE the food, but the service has seriously been slacking the last couple of times that we've been to this location. And whomever is in charge of the music needs to get a hearing aid. Good grief! It is so loud that it is nearly impossible to carry on a conversation with those across the table. Common Karina's, you all can do better.
This is by far the least cute Karina's there is in San Diego! It's not super clean (bathroom included, yikes!) Also, there was just one server when me and my daughter went to lunch but even with us being the only customers the entire time we were there, she was simply too slow and took too long to give us the menus and to take the order. I am not a happy camper when I have to stand up and peak at the kitchen to check what's happening. Only to find out that she is cutting lemons and that my food is sitting under the warmer. We got a chicken tortilla soup that was $13 and adding chicken with $7 which made it a $21 soup and when it wasn't even that good. The ceviche was really good as it always is. Overall would not recommend this specific location based on my experience that day.
Muy buena comida y buen servicio!
