The food was fine but not remarkable. The blue fin tuna nigiri was the best dish. The tuna tartar was not evidently sushi grade, had limited tuna, and seemed semi cooked. The sashimi starter was ok pieces were very thin. I did not enjoy the bao bun bbq sauce. The makis were fine. But overall it was extremely expensive for what it was. I find the high rating here puzzling. For sushi lovers I would recommend 312 fish market instead.
Just had a nice meal this evening. They just opened around 3:30 on Sunday we’re getting ready for guests. Atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy as it can only seat about 18-20 people total. We ordered a maki roll of salmon avacado and it was fresh and tasty. I ordered a gyoza ramen. Broth was tasty, gyoza were hot and crispy. Friendly attentive service.
This charming sushi spot has great ambiance and even better sushi. We sat at an outside table on the intimate sidewalk patio with string lights. Restaurant is BYOB and there is a liquor store conveniently across the street. All three rolls were delicious. We will be back!
This is easily the best Japanese food I’ve had in a very long time. The sashimi (tuna, salmon, white tuna) were all so fresh. The hamachi collar was to die for. Age dashi tofu was excellent. Everything was just fresh, tasty and delicious. And the service was outstanding. Our first time, but certainly won’t be the last.
